Remove Tags[]
You can remove any of the built-in tags or Custom Tags, artwork, or lyrics using the Tag Editor, and the Tag Inspector lets you add, delete, and edit all tags attached to a file except artwork.
This tool offers another way to remove tags, especially the kind that don't show up in the Tag Editor, that is quicker than the Tag Inspector when you're dealing with many files at once. It opens a window with options to "remove all" or "remove specific tags" and a drop down menu to select which tags to remove. Just check the box for the field and ALL tags in that field will be removed when you press the Execute button. Obviously, this should be used with caution!
Search and Replace[]
Go to MusicBee > Tools > Tagging Tools > Search and Replace... to search for and replace text in tags.
Check "search criteria is a regular expression" to search using Regular Expressions.
Check "match case" to search only for text matching the same case as your search terms.
Check "match whole word" to search only for whole words and not parts of words.
Click the "Preview" button to preview the results of your search-and-replace.
